Mango Lane Park

Plot Area: 11,600 sqm
Total GFA: 9,601 sqm
Total Building Footprint: 2,804 sqm
Project Type: Mixed-Use Park Development
Year: 2023

Mango Lane Park is a mixed-use park-like development with areas for commercial and retail activity, an office building and accommodation. The main objective of the design aims to preserve as many existing trees in the property while also aiming to provide:

  1. Pedestrian Pathways and well-sized sidewalks
  2. Road for cars and larger vehicles
  3. Open and well-ventilated structures and corridors
  4. Illumination through windows and open space lighting
  5. Natural Shading
  6. Open space and playgrounds accessible by all ages (by taking advantage of the site’s natural vegetation
  7. Commercial Activity for both established businesses and small local businesses
  8. Accommodation
  9. Office Spaces
  10. Vehicular Parking

These considerations are translated into a master plan that carves out meandering path walks, size-able but intimate commercial spaces for retail and dining activities, fun open spaces with park amenities, and an area for office and accommodation.

Meandering pathways allow pedestrian access throughout the whole development from the front of the site to the back where the office building is located. It runs through the food park and commercial area along the way.

The commercial zone is divided into two areas allowing a stand-alone locator to lease the commercial structure fronting the street and a variety of retail and food establishments to lease the smaller spaces at the center of the property.

All paths lead to a place for children: the commercial areas and main garden converge at a space for play, conveniently accessible and visible from active areas within the dining and commercial zones.

A food park that aims to provide a variety of food choices and transform urban landscapes one bite at a time.
